Sophie, a 5-month-old German Shepherd, is recovering from a spinal injury after being rescued from Westside German Shepherd Rescue in Los Angeles. Her injury caused her to be unable to walk, prompting her for a slate to be killed, but with the proper medication and just one week of physical therapy, Sophie works on taking her first steps.
